4.Specify length of the second semiaxis by moving the cursor and clicking with the left mouse button or enter the required radius value in the dynamic input filed and press Enter to draw the ellipse.

Note: use dynamic input to enter the required values.

An ellipse has a set of properties which can be viewed and edited in the Properties panel:

Property

Description

Color

Defines the color of the ellipse.

Layer

Defines the layer which the ellipse belongs to. The property contains a list of all available in the drawing layers and allows to move the ellipse to another layer.

Line Weight

Defines the lineweight of the ellipse. Is selected from the standard values. You can turn the function of showing the lines according to their lineweight on or off. Each lineweight value corresponds to a number of pixels on the screen. The number of these pixels isn't changed while scaling in the program window. The scale of lineweighht display on the screen is set in the Visualization tab of the Options window.

Linetype

Defines the linetype of the ellipse. Is selected from the standard values.

Linetype scale

Sets the scale for the current linetype. By default it is 1.

Point

Sets the coordinates of the center of the ellipse.

RadPt

Sets the coordinates of the second point of the vector of the major semiaxis, which defines its length and direction in the drawing.

Radius Ratio

Sets the ratio between the minor and major semiaxes. It characterizes the oblongness of the ellipse. The nearer the value to 1 the more like a circle is the ellipse, the nearer the value to 0, the longer is the ellipse.
